Founded in 1896, The Co-op sought to serve and meet the need for UT Austin students. Staying true to the original idea and vision set by future UT President, Dr. William J. Battle, our vision is to strengthen the Longhorn experience by focusing on student success and faculty initiatives, and our mission is to promote student success by expanding access to affordable learning resources, offering college-to-career initiatives, and providing opportunities for student learning.
